Slade released this 7" in 1980. Although the AC/DC album "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" (on which the track "Rocker" appears) wasn't released in the U.S. until 1981, the album was released worldwide in 1976.

SLADE were fantastic live and the head bangers loved em coz during their gigs they grew in volume as they progressed through their set! They were a beast live and very very loud but surprisingly clear considering the volume. A true wall of sound! Nod would mess about and back well away from the microphone and he could honestly still be heard half way down the hall! My dad truly loathed em too. A real generation gap back the .heh heh heh. Still miss their live shows even today. Underrated
