The children in each different place Will see the baby Jesus' face Like theirs, but bright with heavenly grace, And filled with holy light. O lay aside each earthly thing And with thy heart as offering, Come worship now the infant King. 'Tis love that's born tonight! No debate needed, tis love that's born tonight...Love, okay?

@levalpat though it does talk about the insignificance of race, it's absolutely absurd to make a claim that it has nothing to do with the worship of God. "Oh lay aside each earthly thing, and with thy heart as offering, COME WORSHIP NOW THE INFANT KING" So lets take a look at your comment in the light of that phrase: you said "It has nothing to do with... worship of God" - To consider one thing higher than all earthly things is to consider it a god. to worship such and object is to worship a god

@starshiptrooper02 actually this song is completely opposite from your comment... its lyric cry out the lack of importance of race..... that race has nothing to do with god or the worship of god.

i love this band and i love this version and i love many other versions - we have such a wealth of music in this age we are in ............ an infinite wildflower meadow of sound ............. all the hues of an other worldy rainbow .......... and yes the lyrics come from an earlier cultural environ.
