I just bought a small clone chorus pedal so I can make my bass sound like Steven Severin's. Finally found another practical effect for bass other than fuzz. It sounds like the Israel intro. Awesome.

I love this era the best too Robert was good but after John MacGeogh era I liked Carruthers era better than when Robert was with them but still love Robert!

That 1980–1982 period was amazing. I should listen to more of their later stuff, but I'm slightly wary of disappointment with the Robert Smith stuff. I love the Cure, but how can it be better than these three albums?
