[contd] if you leave the copyright match uncontested, the system assumes that the notice is valid and then you get ads on your videos. the proceeds dont go to you, but to the owner of the rights of the piece that was fraudulently claimed to have been infringed. so yeah, counter-notice ASAP. disliking this video to retroactively protest. hopefully "sinister" and other groups will leave this "the orchard music" cancer if enough people dislike their material for being associated with them.

sounds right. file a counter-notice. i did without much hesitation at all and after A MONTH, the strike was lifted by fiat (after a month of no response, copyright notices are null). so they essentially file fraudulent notices and then exploit the month long grace period to its fullest extent. fucking obnoxious, mostly because a copyrighted video cannot be added to a show because it cant be monetised. this bullshit needs fixing.
