no its just a guitar fact dude, daniel johns used soldano or marshalls cranked with metal tones in those days, cobain used a fuzz face or a big muff im not saying nirvana wasnt heavy but silverchair used more of a metal tone where kurt used more of a punk tone n got pretty much the same effect haha so i guess ur right but daniel used a heavier tone man like the song israels son thats a metal tone man
