(IT) Versione riarrangiata da Pat Metheny del successo originale di Silje del 1990.

Questo video non è originale (non so nemmeno se era stato fatto un video di questa versione).

----------------

(EN, info by Richard Niles) This was released in 1990 on Lifetime Records/EMI. Produced & co-written by Richard Niles and recorded in Rio De Janiero with Metheny on acoustic & electric guitars and Armando Marcal on percussion. Metheny introduced Silje Nergaard to Niles and this was her first record - Top 30 in Britain and Norway and Number One in Japan. The video is a mix of the original video and some extra Metheny footage.

The mood that this version is capable of express is astonishing. It's like it has an infinte number of layers, seems like you're into this super wide dimension, ample melodies, sounds, connected, details... so unique and amazing. I've been listening to this song since 1994 and I will always listen to it.

I've been singing this song to myself since I saw it on TV 2 back in the day. I've never ever been able to find it, and started thinking I'd imagined the whole song, but here it is! I had remembered the chorus perfectly. Thanks for posting this. Is this the original music video?

The release of this music was when LP's and Casette's were available in South Africa during the apartheid years. It was difficult to get music in the country. My first ever purchase of a Casette when i was 14, was Roxette Look Sharp and my second purchase was Silje - Tell me where you going. It was the best ever purchase of music in my life. Silje, you the best. I grow up with your music and i'm still listening to your good music.

Silje Nergaard with "Pat Metheny" MON COUCOU que du bonheur!!!!!!!!! MERCI PAT :-)

Thanks so much for posting this. I bought the LP years ago but it was recently stolen so it's been nice to be reminded of her great music

Ditto. Thank you very much for the information, and a production endlessly remembered: I found this LP when working on a radio station in York -- though its release date confused me: distinctly the memory of playing this song is from either 1985 or 1987: and this was the last track on one of the sides. Much preferred this version compared to the other version on the same LP.
