SIGNE's haunting cover of Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me Round" is matched cleverly with this video compiled of footage from the 1934 film "Duffy the Mascot" by Ladislaw Starevich. The film, with creative stop animation that's way ahead of its time, is about a small toy dog that "goes to hell and back" in his struggle to bring an orange to a dying girl. Heartwarming, haunting and very, very dark when viewed in its entirety. Have a look for yourself at http://www.archive.org/details/Duffy_the_Mascot.
