i remember my dad playing this song in the car on a lot of our trips through the mountains. It really brings out such strong emotion, makes us think of a simpler time, makes us all wish we were the people in this song. One of my favorite songs of all time, and this version is just so beautiful words cannot even describe it.

First time I listened to Arlos version I didnt like it, i couldnt even finish it. I thought he treated it disrespectfully, like a joke, because of the way he sings. But the guitar work was so good i stuck around. After 3-4 times i realized its probably the best version out there, its magnificent.
