Fantastic version! These guys are great! Of course, anything with Tommy Shaw is gonna be an instant winner! Have to agree, loved the Mamas and the Papas version. Their vocals, mostly. But the music in this version is outstanding! As for California, I say, be my guest! They can have it! Blue skies all the time gets a little boring. (Blue skies and dead grass everywhere, that is. And bald hills. And tumbleweeds. Plain shorelines. Unless it's Clint Eastwood's turf.)
