He probably did ! Events were moving so fast at that time. I think the only song he didn't co-write (apart from cover versions) was "Holidays In The Sun" which Johnny Rotten/John Lydon wrote himself. But so the story goes the "riff" was very similar to a song by their German support band when they were in Berlin ! The lyrics of course are pure John Lydon.
