In his autobiography John expressed disdain for this song and I can't understand why. The opening guitar chords put me in mind of Jack Nicholson's axe slicing through the bathroom door in the 'The Shining'. It sounds fucking scary. It's great.

Johnny changed the lyrics, Glen wanted to play about love and that stuff, but Rotten didn't care about anything..They were punk because of him, and Sid was the biggest fan of them, and later they asked him to join the band, he didn't know how to play, so he started to learning..later he met Nancy, and he fucked up his life...

Makes me remember how great the Pistols were. When you were 14 it was superb. Thamk god i didnt go to see them in the recent years to spoil the memories.. rotten is a bit of a clown now. Used to be my hero.

Glen wrote 50% of the lyrics, wrote most of the riffs, help Steve learn guitar. Weren't for Glen, would be no Sex Pistols. Sid was a poser, he was phony and not even Punk. He was a useless non talented junkie. He was unplugged/turned down 90% of the time, didn't play on Nevermind The Bollocks. Glen Matlock is a true punk.
