@tamarw1 I'm pretty sure the bass player in this is Klyde Jones who toured on occasion with Hall and Oates, usually when Tom "T-Bone" Wolk was away on another commitment (like the Saturday Night Live Band when co-directed by G.E. Smith, another former member of the Hall & Oates band). Klyde is a member of Average White Band, which also features another Daryl Hall collaborator Alan Gorrie, who also plays bass and is one of the co-writers of this song.

@TrashTalkinJuicers I believe this video clip is from a program broadcast on Japanese television, supporting the release of "Can't Stop Dreaming'," which was originally only available as a limited edition through the Hall & Oates fan club and sold at some of H&O's shows at the time, circa 1996. "Send Me" is more or less the title track of Daryl's solo CD/album "Soul Alone," which he name checks in the first verse, "...couldn't stay at home all those souls alone..."
