Used to bump into Lou around Boston and he's a nice guy, superbly talented.This song is sung by Jason though, I think (It doesn't sound like Eric, but I could be wrong...) .Anyhow. This lyric is, to me, a really interesting perspective. I think it might be about a parental divorce. Not sure, but it seems to fit. I wish I knew because it's one of the several haunting songs by Sebadoh that I always come back to when I am missing the comfortable thread-worn sweater of 90's introspection and self-inspection.
