This day in music history:In 2014, Flaming Lips and Sean Lennon performed The Beatles' Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds as part of The Late Show With David Letterman's Beatles Week celebration, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the group’s arrival in America. Later in the year, the Lips enlisted with Moby and Miley Cyrus for a different version of the song as part of their album With a Little Help from My Fwends, a track-for-track tribute to Sgt.
