Do you know that S C U M stands for Sécurité Urbaine de Montréal which is the Police of the Citty of Montreal. On the center of the vinyl was a City of Montreal Police car on its top and burning. Picture was taking during a riot of the Stanley Cup I think.

SCUM recently played a reunion gig in Montreal with the original album line-up of Anthony, Georges and Jean. Michel Wax (of Unruled) played Bass. Suffice it to say the show kicked ass.

Saw them, with Anthony singin', about 60 times. Once he left and they turned "bad metal", it was all over D8 Still, great times at The Cargo, Rising Sun, Foufs, and other holes wherever/whenever SCUM performed 8D Still have the videos from those days and they will go up here, one of these days.

@PierreNolet Claude Bonhomme, the bass player, was my boyfriend at the time. I think we were at the same shows. I remember when the cops have drop by, once in a local on St-Laurent street. Last year I met Bunton, the singer, at the PIL show in Montreal, it was great to meet him after 30 years, he remembered me. Very good memories. I saw them with Black Flag too and at Foufounes Electriques.

I remember seeing them at the Rising Sun, great show, the singer was so stoned that he sometimes forgot to sing, dropped the mike, then came back to realize he was in the middle of a song, good times ;)

Thank you very much for the upload, bring back good memory. I have see them 2 times back in the 80, both times the cops have drop by. i think they did not like the real Montreal police flag they always have on the stage With a S in front of C.U.M. :)
