Blink 182 were big Screeching weasel fans and its pretty obvious in their snotty style they even cover "girl next door on that buddah Lp. I really liked Blink 182 1st couple albums but they got pretty shitty pretty fast no where near as good as the weasel. But it takes all kinds I guess. I guess they just didn't stay consistant enough for me and they lost their edge after dude ranch maybe even after chesire cat.

They're not punk because they're not "old" they're not punk because... They aren't. They are a pop band.Nothing more. Rocking a faux hawk and playing three cords doesn't make you punk. It's pop with an "attitude". Your assertion that a 38 year old shouldn't play punk is completely ridiculous and shows how little you know. Punk Rock is the most prolific genre in the history of music, sadly, you know nothing about it.

Yeah Angel and Airwaves is awesome I think. Tom Delonge's very nasal voice can be a bit grating, but it's used to great effect in A & A. It almost makes you forget the horror of Blink 182 lol

Honestly, if I were Screeching Weasel, I would be honored that Tom is such a huge fan. The Adventure and Guestlist are great songs. Get over it.

Lol. Tom probably loved this song when he was younger and accidentaly used a similar riff in The Adventure but, their is no being sure. Someone told me the last riff I wrote sounded like My Friends Over You.
