I really like this! I've listened to both the original and this one, and they're both absolutely fine, I just personally prefer hers. For me, I feel the emotion of the lyrics better through the way she interprets it.

Why are a lot of people bitching on this? It's suppose to be a cover... so Scarlett did it her own way and as a musician/singer-songwriter I think she did a great job. People are too much hanging on the Jeff Buckley version. I think Jeff would be proud if he heard this. :) He still inspires people to play his songs every day, even after his death.Anyway; thumbs up, Scarlett. Nice job. WAY different from the Jeff version; but that means that it's a good cover. The word "cover" says it all.

I've never seen a video get more dislikes. This is terrible, and she should be ashamed of herself as a Buckley fan. All of you thinking this is so great, do you know nothing about music production, or the original artist? And if you do; are you deaf?First, they take this big reverb and put it on her voice, to make is sound like she is in a church, and her voice is full and thick,Then they put some delay on the long notes so they sound longer and nicer.Some EQ, and pitch delay to fix all her flat notes,Then a compressor, to make it sound super tight again.Then they master it and put another huge reverb on it. Then it ends up sounding like burning plastic. This horrible, no wonder there is so much trash out there. This is worse than her performance in that Woody Allen movie, and that's was about as bad as it gets.
