Im a Donegal man. Moved to Denmark in 1973, met my wife here in 1974. We got married and took our honeymoon in1975, where we spent 2 months travelling around Ireland, great.We used a fishermans boat to travell to Clare Island, stayed at the only hotel there. Loved it. Met the Americans that had the lighthouse and stayed a few days extra to party with them. It was a life experience. We are still together and hope that we will visit the Island Again. A visit to Clare Island can I recommend. There are no cars there, but a friendly farmer can drive one to where you wanna go on the trailer of his tractor. A life experience.
