Hauntingly Beautiful Goth, there is a beauty in sadness that most will not see, so much Truth in the lyrics

This song has more meaning than those fake christian songs that you hear on the radio. They are so cheesy compared to this. This is real.

I just have a question : what does this guitar player do today ? I like his style, his talent and I would like to where he plays now ^^

Coming up on 20 years since I first heard Eric Clayton sing. The hair on my arms and neck still stands up.In my opinion, he's one of, if not THE, greatest male vocalists of all time.I believe his exposure to the wider world was severely limited by the fact that his band was a "Christian" band, certainly not suitable for mainstream popularity, according to those who decide such things.

Thats the nice thing about the real goth communities though, they won't hate you for being a believer. They accept everyone for who they are.

As we keep pointing to satanists and sending them to hell. Many other "followers of God" sin in secret. Maybe we desrve more hell than them because we dare to judge people still ignoring aour condition as sinners. If there is love in our hearts we should know that God gave his son for those "satanists" God bless all of them. They are looking for an answer to their lifes and our threats are not going to aproach them to God. The war is not against them. I am from Colombia...

Amen to that. I don't think there's any here. I don't really meet up with the goths here though, so I don't know for certain. Wish there were more gothic Christian bands.

agreed dude, i may not be from any given religion but still find beauty in it's beliefs or even in it's practices. And this song is a lot more about eternal love than anything. all this religious discussion is just plain stupid. believing or not, people should show some respect.

Is that not Jimmy Brown in backing vocals? He's one of the amazing vocalists of our time:) I do love this song as well~(V)

@hbsharkman Thanks. I've seen it from both sides, so I'm not out to slam anyone if they abide by the same "live and let live" attitude I try to. Liking cool, obscure bands helps, too... ;)

@N1te5hade i have to say, i'm glad you posted. As someone of Faith it makes me smile to actually see something from a complete stranger that makes perfect sense to me; and isn't trying to fuel the flame of a tiresome argument. And on Youtube of all places!

@Reynasite Not to start another tiresome debate on youtube, but no, it isn't. Religion is a codified system of beliefs and practices pertaining to it. The "atheism is faith-based" argument- which I used to make- has never held water. Some atheists may be annoying zealots, but do you want to argue that no religious people are? Don't generalize. As for music vs. beliefs- not believing in a story doesn't mean you can't appreciate the beauty in it- or in its telling.

@Beanbandit27 Wow, what a relief, I was really worried when I heard about the cancer, but thankfully not true.

@gyeszno You realize that "Not following a faith" is still a religion.
