One of the Gothic Metal bands that inspired my darker tone with my own horror works. No other Gothic Metal band in the scene sparked as much controversy as Saviour Machine did. Those if of you who are Christians who are Gothic might have a few of their CDs in their collection. I own their first CD.

How does Revelation say that Rome is considered Babylon? The current pope is following the truth of the Bible much more than the previous ones were... Honestly, America is the only nation in the world that really could be considered Babylon, considering the prophecies and how they compare to the US. Even if it's not Babylon, America certainly is leading the charge for corruption and sin in this world. And soon enough, it will be persecuting Christians and turning its back on Israel.

That's why I'm not taking part in religion - I'm a Christian. Christianity isn't a religion, but a relationship with the Almighty God via Jesus Christ and His forgiveness. There's nothing religious to it. Religion says do, Jesus says done. Religion expects you to follow a bunch of rules or you can't enter heaven - Christianity acknowledges that we can't follow God's law on our own, and that's why Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for our sins so we wouldn't have to face God's judgement. :)
