Playing with Saul Williams, probably one of the most inspirational politically and socially concioius poets I've ever heard. Seriously, I don't know why this video doesn't have more views than it does.

Fucking Serj and De la Rocha get together, arguably the two biggest names in the counter cultural Rock n Roll, get together to sponsor a poetry reading... This is the most honest depiction of our hipster generations. Only these guys actually contributed to good music.

If you're interested Saul Williams has a self tiled album which has songs featuign both of these guys. The first song (Talk To Strangers) featuring Serj and another song Act III Scene 2 (Shakespeare) featuring Zach Del La Rocha. Alternatively Serj and Saul are both featured on Buckethead's Enter The Chicken album. Saul and Zach appear together on the song Release by Blackalicious.

theres a pic of zack on the mic at this event... is it possible that they switched positions after a while, that like everyone did everything at a time? that would be soooo cool since they all can play on all of the "positions" and theyre all the same way politically conscious... i need to find it!

@xXElMananaXx Hey dude, it sounds like the lyrics are pretty basic. He read some headlines from a New York Times and then read an article on terrorism and the patriot act. He followed it up with Not in Our Name, after a bit of a New York Times and White Collar Crimes mantra. Doesn't sound like he did any freestyling... just a poetic reading of propaganda.

I'm pretty sure Saul & Serji met through their mutual association with Ken Wilber.
