Lovely photo of her at the end of the video-she looks so beautiful and happy.Despite her sad story and the fact that Sandy Denny sang such melancholy songs with a voice that could move grown men to tears,her music is strangely uplifting,and.to me at least,not at all depressing.The paradox of melancholy music being uplifting is fascinating and apparently scientists are looking into it with a view to it helping alleviate some forms of mild depression.

Sandy was absolutely the best. Her voice always moves me every time, a treasure of texture with flawless intonation and such intelligent phrasing. I can't imagine another taking her place. If there is a heaven, she is surely singing for the lucky ones. Rest in peace....

There are many excellent folk singers who can do justice to this great song but only Sandy's magnificence can bring a grown man to tears. Her's was surely the voice of an angel.
