The prog rock band Sandrose broke shortly after this LP because of musical dissensions. The singer credited as Rose Podwojny on this LP decided to launch a solo career under the name of Rose Merryl between 1976 and 1978, without much success.In 1979 she took her final name as Rose Laurens. In 1980, she is singing in a successful Musical and will continue her rapid growth in 1982 with the title ''Africa'' from the LP ''Déraisonnable’’ (Unreasonable), beginning a rich and prolific career as a singer in France. Rose Laurens tunes are manifold on Youtube.

@frodon54110 Nice to have you here, nice record label - I am planning my own one soon. Sandrose is one of my favourite albums. Did you reissue it more than once? I have a Musea issue with a red label, and another with a white one. How many copies did you produce? I also have it on CD. I saw an original copy (UK issue) go on eBay for only 200 Euros - unfortunately I was too late :-)

I reissued it firstly in 88 and some years after on CD. A great souvenir and a pride to have reissued this gem.His best guitar solos are on Michel ZACHA's three albums and with Geoffrey ORYEMA, he also backed many years the committed French singers François BERANGER and popular singer RENAUD. He played at the beginning of his career with SYSTEME CRAPOUCHIK and replaced the missing guitarist of Marseille band EDEN ROSE on their sole album, I reissued too on my record label Muséa. FG

Fantastique guitare de J.P Alarcen. Rose a pour moi un chant qui manque de naturel et un accent... C'est mon seul bémol. Cet album reste l'un des tout meilleur de la Pop française.
