I saw them play this live in San Antonio, TX. at the Majestic Theater, back in the early/mid '90's! It was awesome!!! I always liked these guys. I really like the "full-on rock" sound & deep bass on this mix. : )

It's very similar to David Bowie.. very close.. even the vocals.. but there's one thing different.. it's more rock.. I love the rock riffs.. very well played..I prefer this version to David Bowie's version for this reason as well as better sound quality than David's 1969's version..

Any cover that sounds exactly like the original is a waste of time. I do, however, have to give props to the vocals on this one. Very well done, great voice, just doesn't have that that swing, if you gat my drift. Saigon Kick is still damned good

Way better than the original!! Yes I do agree, Saigon Kick gets overlooked by the mass media. A very talented group. My brother and I started playing "Fields Of Rape" as soon as we heard it. Thanks for posting this.
