It's just too textbook. They have great skill, production, talent... but it's all just mass-production pop-metal. On the chops level, they're way beyond Sabbath, whom they're obviously heir to, yet as far as significance and impact, what Sabbath did in the early 70's was earth-shattering. I personally think that what these guys are missing is an aesthetic. This video does nothing for them. I also think their songs are pretty boringly constructed, like they have all the pieces to be potentially good but it's not clicking. Love Andy James though but his solo stuff is miles more listenable than this.10 years назад
