Im sure each member of the crew will have their own reason... But over-all, the demise of the Junction came because we grew apart. Nobody officially decided the group was breaking up, it just got to a point where it was more lucrative to do music solo. Adulthood, having kids and families to take care of played a part as well. Hobo Junction's "hey day" was fueled by the fact that we all lived together in some form or fashion...that changed when dudes got older too.

Crazy track, Saafir was truly ahead of its time. Why did actually the Hobo Junction split up?

I wonder when heads will recognize the greatness of this track....I had the pleasure of being in the studio when this was recorded waaaaay back in the 90's....everybody, including the engineer went NUTS when he spit the rhyme.... A true masterpiece.
