Ruthie Foster is, in my opinion, an all round genius artist, soulful voice and delivery, just the most talented and powerful singer and performer. Ruthie goes to the root of the blues, and this song makes this song so spiritual at least for me. Ruthie's music, voice, and musican always lifts me up out of pain and makes me happy to wake to her sweet, honest, soulful voice again. A true gem as an individual and artist that should be appreciate with joyfulness.
