I've been a Rush fan since the 1970's. The song "Open secrets" from Hold Your Fire CD is one of Rush's intimately close to the human heart songs. If any caring and sensitive human-being would genuinely listen and then understand the song perhaps they would find themselves somewhere in the lyrics and share a deep understanding of theirs and others humble humanity.

I was not a big fan of H.Y.F. when it was released back in, was it 1987? Anyway, it has changed for me completely and it is now one of my favorite Rush albums. "Open Secrets" being a hidden gem in the list of killer Rush songs, both musically and lyrically. It just took me a little longer to find it than most.

Rush has "successfully" changed with the times over the years along with a lot of the fans and picked up new ones along the way, other bands just dont have the sauce to do that, for the most part anyway. These guys have just created something unique:)
