@1950BobbyF hope you had a great time here and met nice people. Yes, the bicycle is our most used means of transport. Have to learn it at a very young age. I live in the very north of Holland, a region called Friesland. Nearby the sea and under sea level, very wide views, lots of sky and green meadows and cows. @DirkjeA - Thanks again for your very kind comment. Thanks for being able to feel the emotions I was trying to convey in my initial comment. I hope your desire to one day visit Scotland comes true. I've actually hiked some 100 miles (160km) in The Netherlands. It seemed I was one of the few people walking, because everyone seemed on bicycles. It was so cool to be walking on paths which were below sea level:)

This song touches my heart so much! I lived in the NW Hielands in my 20's & hiked hundreds of miles all over the islands & hielands in my 20's & 30's.
