From what I remember in the sixties (when this was recorded) Roy Orbison lost his wife to death. Most of his songs are very sad and beaufuly accomplished with his GREAT vocals. I loved him then and I love him now!

The extended mix is a work of art, as is the song, written in about fifteen minutes by Roy and Jeff Lynne. Lynne said Roy wanted a great song, kind of "old style" and I guess they delivered, so harmonically rich and the Extended Mix is seamless! WOW, Roy would love this_____I'm sure he DOES.
