Roy Acuff played "Down at the end of memory lane" on Hee Haw some years ago. While I have it on VHS tape, I cannot find it on U-TUBE. On the tape I have, the guy that played the flat top in the turnaround, was more than fantastic. To bad U-Tube doesn't have it but they don't have everything. I'm looking for Flatt /Wiseman "Me and your memory" and Webb Pierce "I go on loving you", also, ask for or look for "Down At The End Of Memory Lane " with Bev King and Joe Knight, Oswalds Golden Anniversary. I believe Brother Oswald plays the tune. It is beautiful, you just listen to it over and over. P,S. Just released, "Down At The End Of Memory Lane". Ask for it on U-TUBE, and check out the guy on the flat top.

Roy Acuff's theme song was "Carry me back to the mountains". U-TUBE has it with Brother Oswald playing and Mac Wiseman singing it. If you haven't heard and seen it, I recommend it! I heard it many times back in the' 40's.

Your Husband Plays one of Oswalds songs , but not Oswalds style , Carry Me back to the Mountains , was Roy Acuff's theme song. I am not trying to be negative , just stating facts !
