Think I saw this video for the first time back in 1986, and it left my jaw dropping. It's what rock music should be. A bit of playing, an enticing melody, but most of all, a real edge on top of that. Not for its own sake, but because it enhances what's already there. The studio version of this song is way too short - maybe it's too much like prog-rock - which is a shame since the first album does have a couple of weak songs, either of which could have stepped aside for a longer version of this.
