This breaks my heart. These words describe a restrained person who is restricted by a lover, a friend, or a family member. That person holding them back cannot realize or is oblivious to the other persons feelings as if they are a silent doll meant for molding & constant change. The restraints have kept this silent doll speechless for a while & they are no longer able to freely choose to give in their opinion on anything.

This song hits me hard bc I witnessed a friend who was in the silent doll’s shoes for a while & desperately need help getting her voice back. She had been in that strict relationship for so long & she had forgotten to think for herself. It took a while to get her back on her feet once the relationship had ended. I love her to death.
