See Mack Murphy and the Inmates' "Mine" for an early version of this song. I love how Jerome reworked some of his older music into Rome and made it sound so much darker and so much more powerful. It's interesting to see where it originated.

I love this song so much, but it puts me in a horrible place in my mind. It's oddly nostalgic, the soft, echoed, opera towards the middle of the song reminds me of all of the bad things i've done, like ghosts, or demons, breaking out of that place in my mind that I hold them. It it unsettling, it is uneasy, but it almost seems necessary for me to listen to it. Essentially, it reminds me of the absolute pit of depression, the place you get to eventually where you're numb, but evil.
