Ritchie couldn't drive in 1981 but he did pack his Strat into a car boot and plugged it directly into the desk so I believe . great singer great guitarist just great

He asked jack to play bass in rainbow, so ritchie in return played the solo on this track with probably his schecter loaded track. Jack was sacked from rainbow 3 weeks later.

I got this album on CD in the 90's somewhere in Maine or New Hampshire while touring through there - I'm from the UK and it wasn't available there. I bought it just for this track as I'm a massive Blackmore fan - the story I heard was Ritchie was passing the studio and happened to have a guitar and amp in the boot of his car. Sounds like his white strat with the seymour duncan 1/4 pounders he was using around that time. What tone - to die for!

I read that Jack Green was in Rainbow "for three weeks." Anyone know the story?

@tour93 Yeah, but it was originally released on Jack Green's "Humanesque" (It's Jack's song). Ritchie liked his work so much, he included it on his anthology.
