to be truthful is to have true in the matter but to have honesty is to have to be honourable in principles, intentions and actions. One can be truthful in they intent but not always honest. truthful is just stating was is true but to be honest is being 100% true. a truthful answer can be a half truth because it could be true but not a full truth but having honour doesn't permit that, google search if your still confuse, btw I was being descriptive and it did make sense
