God richards solo stuff is so badly produced. Everything is so normalised within an inch of its life. He has such a raw, natural voice and seems to do everything he can to get rid of it. It's strange. Sure mcabe had effects and stuff, but they had heart and this sounds programmed and levelled out. I honestly can;t believe richard hears this and genuinely thinks it stands up to him say doing an acoustic of see you in the next one. he has to get a grip man.
