Hi coss1973 i was able to know REO Speedwagon wonderful music thanks to Hi Infidelity too!!! I have seen REO live show five times in Venezuela too!!! two times in Valencia Venezuela in 1987 and three times in Caracas Venezuela too! in 1992!! i lost one show for bad publishing here! but any way i had the great honor to meeting with the REO Guys after the two show!!! is a long long story to try to said here!, just i can say I LOVE REO SPEEDWAGON!!!!!...

Hi julio, it´s been a great surprise to find this Youtube channel, I´ve been a Reo fan all my life, now i´m 39, and yes Hi infidelity was the very first album i heard from this great band, I have seen REO live a lot of times, the first concert, in my hometown Guadalajara back in 1990....sadly Gary was not around anymore back then,,,,,,,,A few years ago there were three amazing videos of REO 1974 line up..with Mike Murphy on vocals..but they´re gone.do you have that precious material?

@Politcalamity It isn't a joke really. "Home on loan" shows how he was owned by the business. He had to "hurry up make the plane" meaning he was pressured by the business to do what they said. So on loan simply means they let him do what he wanted to do only briefly. JMHO of course

@stashyjon Yeah!!!, of course after having Hi infidelity and Wheels Are Turnin, 'I did not stay with it, I knew that REO Speedwagon was my favorite band for that time and forever!!!, I knew what I had in hand were musical gems and I started collecting the albums of the 70, from the first album I bought by accident without knowing who is now a real treasure... to this day!!!

@vagonveloz oh the 80's stuff is good, it was the first Speedwagon stuff I heard. But when I started listening to the older stuff that I got my mind blown. Still its all good Hail Speedwagon!!

Weird. Every lyric sheet I look up for this song, at least on the internet, says the last verse is "I'm home on loan", which makes less sense than what I always thought it was...which is "I'm home all alone"....which to me always had more impact, I thought he was singing about coming back home to find his mother long gone. Listening to it, it could go either way.

Are you serious? I wore Good Trouble out. Great vocal efforts and writing. I met those guys once. Neil said his best effort was the Hi Infidelity record. Kevin reluctantly signed my cow cover album. He said I was special and that he only signed that one for his mom because he hated that cover.
