No will ever harmonize together quite the way Michael Stipe and Mike Mills did. Before anyone knee-jerks at me, I didn't say they were the BEST AT harmonizing together. There are plenty of beautiful harmony duos out there, obviously. I'm just saying, they had a magic and a chemistry that was completely unique to their vocal textures that will probably never be reproduced. Nor would I want it to be. It was magic. I would put it up there with recognizable harmony duos like Simon and Garfunkel.

Why can i not stop thinking of Andy kaufman every time i hear this album. I've watched all of Andy's video clips through listening to the man on the moon. He is a legend. R.I.P Andy Kaufman.

I'm one of those "early" REM fans - the first four albums crush the later stuff. HOWEVER, this song is amazing. Also, Michael Stipe's (and hair) got much better throughout their career.
