Well that's... significantly different than how the song turned out... Any idea who the main singer is?? I'm about 98% positive it's not Matt Thiessen (I can definitely hear Hoopes' voice in the background, and I thought I heard Thiessen too but I could be wrong). I remember hearing something about the drumme, Steven Cushman writing this about his ex... Could be him singing maybe?
