I think that the only guys that really got the idea of the solo are Hillel (of course) and Frusciante. Arik and Dave made a really good work on the chilis, but they didn't got the main idea, clearly visible on this video: Chilis' music is more about emotion and expresionism, especially in the soloing, more than giving a good amount of well organized notes, or a pentatonic solo lick. Great vid ;)
