Artist Biography: Red Equals Meltdown was formed in early spring 2013 in the South Shore area of Massachusetts. They released a 2 song demo and began playing shows shortly thereafter. Red Equals Meltdowns sound is that of classic metalcore, blending melodic metal with aggressive, heavy hardcore which makes for an intense energetic live performance. Selected by Sumerian Records to play their stage at the Connecticut date of the 2013 Mayhemfest Tour during a battle of the bands in just their third performance, Red Equals Meltdown has been establishing a strong local fan-base and proving themselves as a serious local act over the past six months. This is just the beginning as they plan to release an EP by summer 2014 and begin touring.

About The Video: The story line of the video is a girl stuck in a nightmare where we see her transition from one scary scenario to another. They lyrics were inspired by a near death experience singer Matt Poulos had so we wanted the theme to be dark and show scenes of distress. The video took 5 days of filming and took a total of 3 and half months to produce. We held a music video release show at a popular local venue where we displayed the video for the first time on a projector in front of an amazing turn-out.
