I like the fact that they tell the story of the people that seemed to forgotten in that flood. Everyone talked about the African American community and the 9th ward, it seemed that was the only thing the news covered, I may be wrong but it seems as though they are telling the story of the other survivors. My names Kelly and I am reckless, i am from mid city, 7th ward, stayed for katrina, and fell down after, struggled, tryed my hat in Flordia, failed, then packed a bag and hit the road to Alaska, suceeded 2009 salmon fishing, was home for our superbowl win, parade and mardi gras, back to Alaska for two more years, a total of four, and spent the last year here on big island Hawaii... a lot of these songs by this band speak volumes to the character of the man that I am, New Orleans I am coming home
