I think I actually prefer this to the original. I love the song, but the robotic sounding voice of the original put me off a bit.

I was a big fan of the Beatles, being a teenager when they started, and John was the one I liked the most. In later years when I read 'A Slice of Lennon', a book written by his first wife Cynthia, I was shocked to read how short tempered and violent he was.The irony of a wife beater being forever known as a man of peace, you couldn't make it up. But if you did I bet John could have put it to music.In his last interview he went on about how he felt so much safer walking the streets in the US than getting mobbed on the streets of the UK for his autograph.You total twat John, and I say that as a fan. If you had stayed in the UK it would have cost you a few autographs, not your life.

Regina, you won't ever "out-vocal" John, so this needs to come with something "extra," such as your full and total commitment to the EXECUTION of his cold-blooded murderer. If a gifted man, such as John, can be shot down, unarmed, on the streets, then so can you and your family. The evil shooter MUST be executed, just as was the shooter at president-elect FDR's speech in Miami in 1933. He was put in the electric chair in Florida in 33 days after the shooting. That was "America" and Real Love (for the law-abiding families). We need REAL Justice now more than ever, after John's murder on the street.
