It's great to hear this track again and the video works really well. As the bass player on this track, I can confirm that we all had enormous fun recording 'Carousal' and I'm sure that this has to come across in the finished mix. Ray was in fine form and encouraged Mike Moran (keyboards) and me to '.... think Victorian circus!'. If you want to join in think 'One, two, three, one, salz'n pfeffer....' The bass is playing the one beats and keyboards the two, three and salz'n pfeffer'....try it!

Ray Thomas rules! He wrote some of the best Moodies' songs and he had/has an amazing voice. Too bad he wasn't singing lead more often :-( No offense to Justin, of course :-)

If you love Ray's voice and do not have his solo works you've got to find them. SOme of his best songwriting resides on these gems. He will forever be "The Man" sorely missed within the Moodies.
