Dr hook is my favorite group. No I'm not old I just grew up to it. Didn't no they were an older band until I was "hooked". My kids have listened to them for years ( even like one or two songs)

OMG, I've been looking for this song for years. My favorite Dr. Hook song and one of my faves ever. Back in the late 70's/early 80's, I wrote a parody of this called "I Need the High, But He Can't Stand the Taste." We had a local radio station back then called KFAT that played all types of country music including irreverent stuff like this, where my friend LouAnn and I sang it on the air.
