The imperfection of his voice is exactly what makes his music so emotional.Any popstar or Rock artist that would atempt to sing his songs just doesn't bring the message the way it should. In a way it's like the Blues. You can't write blues songs without experiencing life's struggles. and Randy is a great example of that.

It may not be technically brilliant, but at least you can tell he cares about what he's singing. Randy's composing will always be superior to his execution, but that doesn't matter. He cares, so who gives a damn if he misses a few notes.
