Was Plant on speed or something for this show? He just can't wait on Jimmy to play the notes. He's singing the song before Jimbo has a chance to play the notes. Kinda ruins it for this Zep fan.

I have noticed that I do not recognize a single person on here who is talking bad about these guys. I dont see your records in the stores. I dont see you playing to thousands of people. Being a huge fan,i find it interesting how Plant's voice has deteriorated. Interesting,cuz i find he would sing ok if he didn't rush the lines so much. I've noticed a lot of rock singers do this.Their timing is just terrible.I know Plant is notorious for being off time but this a bit different.I've heard Roth and (asshole) Rose do the same,rushing the lyrics and not letting them flow smoothly.Just a thought.

Robert Plant has certainly been through a bad time for that out of Led Zeppelin. He was at the beginning of his career. The others were already well known by the Yardbirds. Could have kept all through today all still be successful as a band see the Rolling Stones at. And, Led Zepp would be more successful than the Rolling Stones. This is my opinion.

They sound good together. I have heard Plant alone and even with a good band it was bleh. the LZ band held him up and he was a good front man

Did anyone else notice the bass player was leading the base line, forcing Page to stick to the rhythm? Jones always let Page lead, but in this song Jones' bass line is so tasty you think Jones is leading, but he's not, allowing Page to dictate the rhythm, but only if the bass player isn't trying to lead. Does that make sense?Any Zep fans who haven't heard Jones' solo stuff needs to right away - you'll immediately see his contribution to the Zep sound in a new light.
