These stupid people dancing, dancing with glee, expressing no sorrow in their faces, have no clue what loneliness is. These stupid people dancing to sorrow, have no compassion at all.

the point is hes singing about homeless people in london but it could be about any town or city in any country the has people living destitute and poverty in a world that doesn't care.a countrys own people neglected and left by the government and left to beg in our citys so they can buy food..nothing ever changes the rich get richer and the poor are left to feed off scraps.

An upliftlingly beautiful song, with lyrics and music which reverberate through the ages, touching everyone, at least everyone who has a modicum of humanity and feeling for the human condition. Paul Harrison, Morayfield, Queensland, Australia, on the 14th November, 2012

Man, that is the most heartfelt and beautiful rendition I have ever heard, but then of course it would be, from the man that penned this amazing ballad all those years ago. :)

Brainwashed by too much rap & hip-hop and similar modern trash pop for years and years, so they have no idea what a really great tune and wonderful lyrics with a real message sound like. Please forgive them, for they know not of what we speak -)
