wait.... but this is like definitive emo. like, emo isn't an insult or associated with hot topic necessarily, its a genre of music that emerged out of post-punk in the 90's, a genre which is characterized by certain guitar tone, melodies, and content. listen to american football. also emo, also amazing. in any case, all genre is a matter of opinion, i am just hoping to open your mind to a genre which is generally disrespected and inaccurately described.

You know, I've struggled to get into this band's work (and am just finding out today that they are broken up (does it matter though, if she's the voice, and they're just backup instruments?). Were there any other songs they released as powerful and as memorable as this one? I tried to find one in their back catalog, and could not. W/them being broken up, u guys should look up main vocalist Caithlin De Marrais on Songkick.com (affiliated w/YouTube) - you can track her future concerts near you.
